The Learning Resource Center houses the library on the first and second floors. It contains a collection of books, current and older periodicals, reference books, and audio-visual materials. The reference desk is always staffed with reference librarians to answer your questions. Instructional Media Resources is also located here.
SCC is a member of MOBIUS, a statewide network of libraries of higher education institutions. MOBIUS makes it very convenient for SCC students to borrow resources from other member libraries. In just a day or two, students can receive requested resources that may be housed in a library located on the other side of the state.
If you have difficulty getting to campus on a regular basis, distance learning classes may be for you. The Distance Learning Office is located on the second floor. Telecourse, teleweb, and online courses provide you with the opportunity to earn college credit from the convenience of your home. All you need is access to the Internet.
