If you are interested in sports, the athletic fields will be an important
stop for you on this tour. SCC has two intercollegiate athletic teams – men's baseball and
women's fast-pitch softball.
Both teams hold memberships in the National Junior College Athletic Association
(NCJAA) Region XVI at the Division I level, and the Midwest Community College
Athletic Conference (MCCAC). The teams compete against other two-year college
teams. Softball and baseball scholarships are
available.
Multi-purpose fields provide practice time for the student Soccer Club consisting
of both men and women's league play. |
