Foundation activities are successful because members of our community volunteer their time, talents and abilities to our worthy cause – EDUCATION! No previous experience is necessary, just a heart to help the Foundation accomplish its vision of transforming lives and strengthening our community.
Below are a few of our recurring events and opportunities. However, we are always open to suggestions. Feel free to call or e-mail Kasey McKee at 636-922-8472, kmckee@stchas.edu. It would be a pleasure to chat with you!
Do you like to plan and help make things happen? Join a committee! Committee members aid the Foundation in coordinating the event, promoting it within the community, providing leads on sponsors or in-kind donors and volunteering at the event. Not a planner? Why not work the day of the event! Extra hands are always needed, whether it's just for an hour or all day. We will work with your schedule. Responsibilities vary, and we do our best to match personalities with the task.
Want to use your talents to help further a good cause? In the past, individuals have donated expertise from legal to graphic design to grant writing to marketing/promotions. This usually gives people the opportunity to serve during non-business hours and from the comfort of their own home. Whatever your gift or talent, we welcome the opportunity to discuss it with you.
If you are available during business hours, the Foundation could always use help in the Foundation office to accomplish administration-type tasks and special projects. Schedules can be flexible; let us know what works for you.
In conjunction with SCC leaders, this 28-member board consisting of industry and community leaders develops and implements the SCC Foundation strategic plan.
