Registering
for Credit Classes
Register early to maximize
the possibility of getting your chosen classes and
schedule.
Registration depends on the type of student you are and what your
needs are. Select the registration process that
best fits the type of student you are.
- You
Must Register with an Academic Counselor if you are:
- a new student with no college credit and plan to take
6 or more credit hours.
- enrolled in the A+
Scholarship Program.
- a student athlete
- on academic warning, probation, suspension, or reinstatement.
- an international student
- a dual enrolled student (first semester only)
- a Success Semester student who has not completed the developmentatl
sequence in at least one subject area.
Other students are encouraged but not
required to see a counselor.
- Online Through
SCC Connection
Save time! Current
and returning students may register for courses online via the SCC
Connection. To access SCC Connection, students must acquire a
login ID and password.
- In
Person at the Registration Window
Current, returning, or students taking less than
6 credit hours. Registration forms can be found in the lobby of
the Administration Building or online.

If you have an outstanding balance or other holds on your
account, you will not be able to register until the holds are
resolved. Visit the Admissions or Cashier's Office for
information.
The college may find it necessary to cancel a class due to
insufficient enrollment or other extenuating circumstances. Whenever
possible, the class will be cancelled before the first meeting and
the students will be notified. Students enrolled in cancelled
classes will receive a full refund of tuition and course fees or may
add a class until the end of the first week of classes.
