TRUSTEE FAFSA SCHOLARSHIP
Application
Number of Potential Recipients:
Varies each school year.
Amount of Award:
Cost of tuition for fall and spring terms at in-district rate only.
Award Criteria:
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Result
of application must indicate an Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
number between 2,001 and 7,999. FAFSA results must show completed and
verified by the Financial Assistance Office. Files chosen for verification
by the Department of Education will delay completion time.
- Current cumulative GPA must be 2.50 or higher.
- Be enrolled in a minumum of six (6) credit hours for each term in
which the award will be given.
Renewing Criteria:
Scholarship is automatically renewed for the spring term if a 2.00 cumulative
GPA is achieved in the fall term. Students must apply for the scholarship
each year. Awards will be made upon completion of the F.A.F.S.A. each
year. Verification of FAFSA information will be required if chosen
for verification by the Department of Education.

April 1 (June 1 for any remaining scholarships not awarded from the April
1 deadline.) All required scholarship items must be provided by 4:30
p.m. on the deadline date. Any missing criteria may disqualify the
applicant. Also see deadline information.

All materials for this application must
be submitted to the Financial Assistance Office (ADM 1115)
by 4:30 p.m. on April 1.
Should there be any scholarships remaining after the
initial awarding, you may still be considered for the second
deadline of June 1. All Trustee Scholarships will be
awarded in the fall for the upcoming school year. |
TRUSTEE ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
Daniel K. Barklage
Trustee Academic Scholarship
One applicant of the Trustee Academic Scholarship will be
named as the Daniel K. Barklage Trustee Scholarship recipient.

Application
Number of Potential Recipients:

Amount of Award:
Cost of tuition for fall and spring terms at in-district rate only.
Academic - Provide one of the following:
- Official high school or St. Charles Community College transcript
indicating a cumluative GPA of 3.00.
- Official GED test results indicating a score of 2,700 or higher and verification
of 12 hours of instruction through a St. Charles Community College
site.
- Official ACT test results indicating a score of 23 or higher.
Fine Arts: Theater, Music, and Visual Arts - Provide one of
the following:
- Official high school or St. Charles Community College transcript
indicating a cumulative GPA of 2.50.
- Referral letter from the respective St. Charles Community College
Program Coordinator.
- See additional
criteria as required by your selected Fine Arts program.
Renewing Criteria:
Scholarship is automatically renewed for up to three additional semesters
(excluding summer terms) if a 2.50 cumulative GPA is achieved at the
end of each term.

FINE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Please contact the Arts/Humanities Division Office Coordinator at 636-922-8254
or 636-922-8255 to request a referral from your Fine Arts Program Coordinator.
Theater:
The student must be actively involved in four academic theater
productions annually (two each semester). Active involvement may include:
- Performing a role on stage.
- Serving as a Stage Manager for a production.
- Working on a major Technical Running Crew for a production.
- Working a scheduled number of hours in the technical preparation
of a production (scenery, lighting, costumes).
- Any combination of the above.
Visual Art:
The student must enroll for at least two studio courses each
semester and participate in the Student Art Exhibitions in both the fall
and spring semesters. Incoming freshmen must submit
the following pieces from their portfolio: three still-life drawings;
one portrait; one self-portrait; one miscellaneous drawing (work must
be drawn from life, not from photographs, and must represent different
drawing medias); three examples of two-dimensional work (computer created
or photograph); and one three-dimensional project.
Music:
The student must be actively involved in at least one large performance
ensemble (SCC singers, concert band, or orchestra) each semester. The
student must also be enrolled for six credit hours of music, including
two credit hours of individual lessons for their major instrument each
semester.
