Trustees
Scholarship Program
The SCC Board of Trustees Scholarship Program is designed to attract
students who have demonstrated an academic ability, fine arts ability,
or have unmet financial needs. Recent high school and GED graduates,
home schooled, and current SCC students may apply.
A total of 107 Trustee Scholarships are available each year; all Trustee
Scholarships are awarded in the spring and summer to be used for the
upcoming fall semester. The first deadline for submission is April 1;
the second is June 1. If the total number of scholarships is not awarded
in April, students may apply and be considered for the second deadline
in June.
You can earn one of three types of Trustee Scholarships.

Trustees Scholarship Guidelines
- Recipients must be enrolled in and complete a minimum of six (6)
credit hours.
- Students who have completed 72 credit hours are not eligible for
the Trustee or Trustee Academic scholarship. Courses transferred from
other institutions will be considered in the 72 credit-hour limit.
- Trustee scholarships provide tuition waivers at the current in-district
rate (residents of St. Charles County receive the in-district rate).
Recipients who live outside the college district will need to pay
the difference between the in-district and out-of-district rate per
credit hour.
- New students to SCC will need to provide an official transcript
from their most recent school attended. Recent high school graduates
will need to provide an official high school transcript.
- Students who receive A+ funds and full SCC athletic awards are
not eligible to receive a Trustee scholarship. Students receiving
other non-SCC awards, such as state financial funding, may or may
not be entitled to receive a Trustee award, depending on restrictions
of the other program that is funding their college expenses.
