Transfer Scholarships

This does not necessarily mean that they do not offer a transfer scholarship, but you may need to contact them directly for this information.

If schools offering a transfer scholarship through a community college president's recommendation have not provided their own requirements, refer to the following criteria on this page.

Because the information provided in this section has been provided by other institutions, it is subject to change without notice.

You should contact the school you plan to attend to ask specific questions pertaining to a scholarship.

Selection Criteria for Transfer Scholarships

Use the criteria below for any transfer scholarship that requires St. Charles Community College president, Dr. John McGuire, to make a recommendation. If a particular institution has provided its own requirements, disregard this information.

Criteria:

• Complete application.
• Graduate from St. Charles Community College with an associate's degree or have earned a minimum of 60 credit hours (30 of which are from St. Charles Community College). Preference, however, will be given to St. Charles Community College graduates.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
• Two letters of recommendation. See Financial Assistance Office for recommendation forms.
• Official transcripts.
• List of extracurricular activities.
• Brief essay stating educational and career goals. (Limit to two pages.)
