a total of four semesters. Non-renewable scholarships are available
for a full academic year (two semesters).
How to Apply:
No separate application is required. Transfer students will be
considered for this scholarship automatically upon application
to the University of Missouri-Rolla. Summer courses taken immediately
prior to enrollment will not be considered. Any questions regarding

Deadline:
Priority deadline for these scholarships will be May 1 for students
transferring for the fall semester and December 1 for students
transferring at the winter semester. Applicants are encouraged

previously attended institutions to the Admissions office by
these deadlines to ensure receipt of the scholarship.
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS
PRESIDENT’S SCHOLARSHIP

Fall and Spring Semesters – The Community College President’s Scholarship will support 15 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters, not to exceed support of 65 hours or more than 2 calendar years. Summer sessions – This scholarship will support summer credit in the amounts of $375 for 3 hours and $750 for 6 hours.
Criteria: One student will be awarded the scholarship from each participating community college each fall and spring semester. The recipients will be chosen by the University of Missouri – St. Louis from up to three candidates nominated by the president of the students’ community college.
- Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Completed or have applied for graduation with an Associate in Arts Degree, AS in Nursing, or an AAS in Criminal Justice or Human Services
- 200 word essay explaining why you wish to attend UM-St. Louis and what your career goals are after graduation
- Applied and admitted to UMSL by the following deadline:
May 15 for fall
October 15 for spring
- Attach UMSL’s letter of acceptance to the scholarship application

Renewal Criteria: To maintain the scholarship, awarded students will need to sustain a GPA of a 3.0 or higher. In addition, full-time enrollment of two consecutive regular semesters is also required.
The Community College President’s Scholarship will be awarded jointly by the UMSL Chancellor and president of the student’s community college.

in the evening program. The award pays full tuition for 3 to
9 credit hours taken in University College each semester, normally
for a total of 60 units. Course work must be applicable to
the degree.

GPA in a transferable area of interest.
- Apply within one year after graduation from community college.

Scholarship awards may range up to $5,000 per year with the actual
amount based upon the cumulative GPA.
Criteria:
- Phi Theta Kappa member.
- New full-time degree-seeking undergraduate at Webster.
- Completed an Associate of Arts degree prior to enrollment
at Webster.
- Achieved a lifetime cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher (as
calculated by the Webster University Scholarship Committee)
on all college work attempted.
- Completed an application for admission to Webster University,
submitted all official credentials, and been accepted to the
university.
- Enroll directly within one semester of community college
graduation.
- Enroll as a full-time flat fee (13-18 semester credit hours
