SCC Foundation
Scholarships
The St. Charles Community College Foundation is the official fund
raising and private gift receiving agency for the college. Chartered as a
non-profit corporation for education purposes, the Foundation solicits and
receives tax deductible gifts and manages these gifts and bequests for the
benefit of the college.
The St. Charles Community College Foundation Board of Directors is
composed of concerned community leaders from businesses, service agencies,
and institutions. Directors take an active role in fund raising, and they
dedicate a portion of those funds for scholarship opportunities to St.
Charles Community College students.
All scholarship funds are applied to the student's account to assist
with tuition, fees, and books. Students receiving A+ Awards, Athletic
Talent Awards, Trustee Scholarships, other tuition waiver scholarships, or
grants are only eligible for tuition, fees, and books not covered by these
programs.
Any portion of a Foundation award not used by the end of the fall
semester will be returned to the Foundation Department. If you choose to
withdraw from your classes, the money will also be returned to the
Foundation Department for future scholarship awards.
