- African American previously enrolled at St. Charles Community College.
- Enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at St. Charles Community College.
- Cumulative 2.50 GPA.

Number of Potential Recipients:
One per year.
Value:
In-district or in-service area tuition and fees for one academic year
(fall and spring) or required textbooks fees for one academic year
(if the student has other academic scholarships).
The following special fees are not included: private music lessons; nursing,
OTA and health information for malpractice insurance; RN certification
courses and clinical; LPN assessment testing; nursing assessment testing;
scuba course; and telecourse fees. Any additional tuition (for example,
if the student lives out of the district) would be paid by the recipient.
Criteria:
- President of Student Senate (requires eight office hours per week
in addition to Student Senate).
- Cumulative 2.75 GPA of at time of election.
- Completed at least 9 credit hours at St. Charles Community College.
- Enrolled in at least 9 credit hours at St. Charles Community College.
- Member of Student Senate for at least one previous year.
Requirement:
Run in Student Senate election in April. Notify Student Senate/Student
Activities Coordinator of intent to run by March 1.
Renewing Criteria:
To renew scholarship for the next continuous semester, recipient must
continue to meet criteria.
