Career Development - COL 110

St. Charles Community College offers a one-credit hour career development class every fall and spring semester. The class normally runs one morning or evening per week for the first eight weeks of the semester. Included in the class are inventories that assess your interests, values, aptitudes, and career thoughts. We also cover decision-making skills and debunking of career myths. Students are required to research careers based on their test results and to conduct at least one informational interview by the end of class. It's a great class to take if you are unsure of a career choice.
