Connect with ConnectEdu for
a Smooth Transfer Process


ConnectEdu is a free online tool that will help transfer students find their next best step after SCC. ConnectEdu will match your entrance criteria and demographic information to the best college or university for you. It will also help you identify which courses from SCC will transfer to your new institution.

Through the online convenience of ConnectEdu, you will be able to:

  • Determine SCC courses that will transfer to specific institutions.
  • Simplify the financial aid application process.
  • Easily remember financial aid and application deadlines through automated reminders.
  • Organize key documents, such as transcripts, test scores, resumes, entrance essays, and more.
  • Send e-transcripts to desired transfer institutions (if they are a ConnectEdu partner school).

SCC offers 24 transfer pathways for students; about 85 percent of students enroll here to take care of general education requirements in preparation to transfer to a four-year institution.

How to connect with ConnectEdu

No additional computer hardware or software is needed to use ConnectEdu.  Simply follow these three simple steps to get started.

STEP 1: Go to www.connectedu.net/stchcc

STEP 2: Click on Register Tab, then Student Tab.

STEP 3: Enter your first name, last name and complete student ID number.
             Example: Joe Student #0123456
             enter 0123456 (must include all seven digits)

Once you are logged in, you will be asked to fill out a brief personal profile.  Fill in both fields that are bolded, including a valid e-mail address.  You will also be prompted to change your username and password to something easy for you to remember.  SCC encourages students to use their SCC login IDs and passwords.

Finish by clicking “Complete My Profile.”

You are now ready to begin using ConnectEdu!
