Cougar Athletics

SCC has two intercollegiate sports: men’s baseball and women’s softball.  Home games are free and open to the public!  The SCC fields are located just off the orange parking lot (North Entrance) on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.

Roller Hockey

The roller hockey team is SCC’s first sport club and are seven-time National Champions. The club is a co-ed fitness-oriented club that competes against other colleges from around the Heartland. In-line hockey is played in Matteson's Tri-Plex in St. Peters. The season begins in the fall term and ends in early April.

Soccer

The Soccer Club is an excellent fitness opportunity for both men and women. During the fall, the men’s team plays in the Mid-America Collegiate Soccer League and the women’s team plays in the Clayton City League.  Students may be required to tryout in order to participate in league or tournament competition. Tryouts and/or practices begin in August.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is located on the first floor of the College Center.  Upon successful completion of PHE 118 or PHE 106, students are free to use the Center during hours of operation.  For more information, please contact Brenda Hollrah at 636-922-8230.
