Café/Bookstore

For a light lunch or snack stop by the Café/Bookstore. This open, airy space provides an ideal meeting place for hungry students. The café provides, cappuccino, espressso, other beverages, bakery items, a selection of cold and hot deli sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza, wraps, and a wide variety of snacks.

Commons Area

The newly created Information Commons, located in the Paul and Helen Schnare Library, provides an environment for group work, reflection, and collaboration. Students working on group assignments can pull up comfortable seats to discuss, plan and execute assignments.  There are current periodicals nearby to browse and help with brainstorming. Students also have access to the Help Desk if they run into any difficulty while working a wireless laptop.  Laptops are available for check-out while in the library to enable more flexible group work.

Student Lounge

Need a place to relax, gather with friends, or study between classes? This student lounge is a great place to hang out and is close to the SSB Auditorium where you can attend Coffehouse Open-Mic nights and other camups events. It is located just one floor below the ACE Center if you should need tutoring assistance.

Mid Rivers Kitchens (Cafeteria)

Mid Rivers Kitchens, located in the Student Center, provides beverages, food hot off the grill, deli sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, hot buffet items, and a wide variety of snacks. Occassional entertainment is provided here for your listing and viewing pleasure. Located just outside the cafeteria, are a group of recreational computers for your use.

Student Rec Area

Within the Student Activities office in the College Center building, there are a variety of options for students to relax and have fun!  There are six recreational computers available to surf the web and check e-mail (these computers do not print).  There is a TV lounge with several magazine subscriptions, board games, and puzzles available for use within the office.  Foosball and air hockey tables are also available at no charge to students.  Club members can reserve the conference room and the club room at the front desk for meetings or projects.
