LEARNING
Like traditional classroom courses, distance learning is another form
of academic offering and is not considered to be a disability accommodation.
Courses include teleweb, telecourse, and online courses.
SCC uses WebCT, an online learning management system. Technology
needs to be accessible by students with disabilities. Should
students encounter difficulties with online access, they should contact
OAS and/or WebCT support at 636-922-8555. The college is not responsible
for adapting personal equipment for accessibility. It is recommended
that students check on technology requirements for course access prior
to taking the course.
