SCC’S RONKOSKI RECEIVES DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE
PATRIOTIC EMPLOYER AWARD

Robert Ronkoski, director of public safety and chief of police at St. Charles Community College, received a “Patriotic Employer” award on Jan. 20 from the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense organization.
 
Ronkoski, of Cottleville, was nominated by an employee, SCC Public Safety Police Officer John Driscoll, United States Air Force Reserve, who currently is deployed. The award recognizes Ronkoski and the SCC Department of Public Safety for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.
 
“I am honored to be recognized,” said Ronkoski. “SCC is proud of our employee’s dedicated service to our country. The commitment and sacrifice made by the men and women serving our country deserve our ongoing support.”
