SCC CONCERT ARTIST SERIES CONTINUES WITH BAROQUE QUARTET
ON FEB. 10

The Southeast Baroque Quartet will perform a concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, in the theater of the Donald D.
Shook Fine Arts Building.  The performance will be one of the last in the St. Charles Community College 2007-08
Concert Artist Series.

A Missouri-based group known for their performance of Baroque and early classical music on historical instruments, the Southeast Baroque Quartet has performed to enthusiastic audiences throughout the Midwest.  Audience members can expect the music of Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, and other Baroque master composers performed in the style of the 18th century. 

General admission tickets are $13.  Discounted tickets are available for $8 for seniors and $5 for SCC students with a valid student I.D.  Reservations can be made by calling the Box Office at 636-922-8050.

SCC’s Concert Artist Series is co-sponsored by Student Activities, the SCC music department, and the SCC Foundation.

The final performance in the series will be the St. Louis Chamber Orchestra at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 4.  The 12-member group features the area’s finest string performers.
