SCC SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2008 SEMESTER

Assistance offered to students with financial need as well as in specific fields of study

Scholarship applications for the fall 2008 semester at St. Charles Community College are now available. The wide variety of scholarships provides students multiple options for requesting financial assistance from the college.
 
All scholarship funds are applied to the student's account to assist with tuition, fees, and books. There are scholarships specifically for students studying nursing, business, public service, criminal justice or pre-law, and education, as well as general scholarships for any area of study.   There are also scholarships intended for students with financial need.  Most financial need scholarships require a GPA of 2.0, however, one scholarship requires a 1.5 GPA.
 
Applications are available on the college campus in Cottleville from the Financial Assistance Office, Room 1115 of the Administration Building, and the Foundation Office, Room 1119 of the Administration Building.
 
Deadline for scholarship applications is June 1.  All applications require transcripts, letters of recommendation, and essays. For more information about available scholarships, contact Edie Kirk at 636-922-8473, or visit www.stchas.edu/foundation.
