SPRING INTO HAT-TITUDE DAY MARCH 8 AT SCC

For an opportunity to welcome the warm spring months, socialize, and show off a little “hat-titude,” red hatters and women of all ages are invited to St. Charles Community College from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on March 8.

The Continuing Education Department at SCC and LuLu’s Scarlet Ladies of Red Hat Society will host Spring Hat-titude Day in the SCC Student Center.  The day-long event will provide fun and informative tips for women.  Additionally, there will be shopping booths from local vendors, a hula dancing presentation by Dori Neumeier, and a Hawaiian-themed ladies’ luncheon.

The featured speakers at the luncheon will be “The Sister Friends” ­– longtime friends Joyce Robinson and Mary Johns.  Robinson and Johns share stories of their friendship through skits, dramas, and speaking from the heart.  For more information about Robinson and Johns, visit www.thesisterfriends.com.

“Hat-titude Day is an event that has sold out every year,” said Nancy Pittman, associate dean of the Continuing Education Department at SCC.  “This event offers everything in one day:  a fabulous catered luncheon, hilarious entertainment, and super shopping deals.”
