IN THE SCC GALLERY
Artwork by students from nine local high schools will be on display Nov. 5-17 in the gallery of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the St. Charles Community College campus.
The SCC Regional High School Art Exhibition is open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays;
8 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays; and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays.
The exhibit will feature works from students attending Elsberry, Fort Zumwalt East, Fort Zumwalt South, Francis Howell, Francis Howell North, Louisiana, St. Charles, Saint Dominic, and Winfield high schools.
“Schools from around the area have brought in the very best work of their students to share with the community,” said Brian Smith, gallery director and associate professor of art at SCC. “We’re excited because it’s such an intimate collection of work from highly talented students.”
Admission to the exhibition is free and open to the public. The college is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
