RIVER CITY RAMBLERS TO JAZZ UP ST. CHARLES
COMMUNITY COLLEGE

The River City Ramblers will bring back the golden age of Dixieland music to St. Charles Community College at
3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, with their famed riverboat jazz.

The River City Ramblers will be playing on the SCC campus in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building as the second show in the 2007-08 Concert Artist Series. The band boasts six of the finest traditional jazz players in the country.  They are internationally known for their mixture of talent, wit, and entertaining style.

In recent years, they have enhanced their traditional Dixie-style performances by adding a blue-grass fiddle, additional guitars, harmonica, and percussion to present a bright, full folk-country-rock sound.
