SCC 2007-08 GUEST LECTURE SERIES BEGINS OCT. 9

Area musician and business owner Jeff Mozingo will speak at St. Charles Community College at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, as the first lecturer of the college’s 2007-08 Guest Lecture Series. The focus of Mozingo’s speech will be about the business of music.

Mozingo has been surrounded by music his entire life. He received his bachelor’s degree in music performance in percussion from Southeast Missouri State University in 1983. He has also taught music and played professionally for 22 years in which time he has worked with such acts as Sammy Davis, Jr. and The Fifth Dimension. He currently runs Mozingo Music with his brother David and plays drums in a contemporary Christian band.

The lecture will be held in Rooms 205/206 of the Student Center on the SCC campus at
4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville. It is free and open to the public.
