GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN MISSOURI 2007 LEADERSHIP ACADEMY SET FOR OCT. 13

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will hold their 2007 Leadership Academy from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at the College Center on the St. Charles Community College campus in Cottleville.

The conference will include several training workshops for registered attendees with topics from “Gear Up for Outdoors” to “Cyber Savvy.” These workshops are built to instruct and inspire Girl Scout leaders to better work with their troops.

Those who have not registered are invited to attend the conference from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at no cost. They will be able to take part in the GSEM Representative Assembly and listen to “Energize the Leader in You,” by nationally-known keynote speaker Suzanne Vaughn at 2:30 p.m.
