YOUNG PEOPLE’S THEATRE AT SCC TO
HOLD AUDITIONS FOR KIDS AND TEENS
The Young People’s Theatre at St. Charles Community College will hold auditions for its fall and winter 2007 shows at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus.
Roles are available for actors and actresses ages 8-17. A parent must accompany their child at all auditions. YPT will also be auditioning for technical theater opportunities for youths at this time.
The fall show, “A Pirate’s Life for Me!” is the tale of a man who pursues the pirate life in order to win the love of another. This comedy will be presented Oct. 19-21 at SCC.
Performances of the winter show, the classic Christmas tale of “Miracle on 34th Street” will run Dec. 14-16.
The Young People’s Theatre is a performing arts program by kids and their families, for kids
and their families produced by the SCC Division of Corporate and Community Development.
