LACLEDE QUARTET TO OPEN THE
2007-2008 CONCERT ARTIST SERIES

The St. Charles Community College Concert Artist Series opens the 2007-2008 season with a performance from the Laclede Quartet at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus.

Founded in 1978, the group has performed extensively in the Midwest for 29 years. Its members have served as Artists in Residence at the St. Louis History Museum and for St. Charles Community College.

The quartet’s four recording projects have been featured on KFUO-FM Classic 99 and several other local radio stations.  Their performances have also been featured on St. Louis’ PBS Channel 9.
