SCC OFFERING RED HATTERS TRIP TO
AMISH COUNTRY THIS JUNE

The St. Charles Community College continuing education department is sending Red Hatters to Amish country in June.  The department is hosting a trip to Nappanee, Ind., where women of all ages will become immersed in the unique culture of the Amish.

In SPI-081-40, Red Hatters in Amish Country, travelers will step back in time and learn about the lifestyle of the Amish people.  The trip will include dinner at a local Amish farm, a visit to the Prairie Trail Herb Farm for a garden tea party, and a trip to the Old Bag Factory, a restored 1890s complex that houses 17 unique shops with working artisans.  The program includes six meals (continental breakfast and dinners), transportation, admittance fees, and tips.  The journey will last from Thursday-Sunday, June 21-24.  Registration is $575.
