SCC OFFERING THREE NEW SUMMER
YOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAMS

    St. Charles Community College is offering three new summer youth academy courses as a part of its College for Tots program.  College for Tots is designed specifically for young children, ages 3-5, and includes activities centered around educational themes.

    In CFT-602-40, College for Tots – Animal Adventure, participants will spend their mornings exploring the world of wild animals, where the animals live, what they eat, and activities they enjoy.  Classroom activities will include art, music, and movement.  The course is from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 18-21.  Registration is $75.

    In CFT-603-40, College for Tots – Around the World in Four Days, participants will travel the world without leaving the SCC campus.  Each morning will include focuses on food, art, music, architecture, and activities from cultures around the world.  The course is from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 9-12.  Registration is $75.

    In CFT-604-40, College for Tots – Summer Olympic Sampler, participants will learn a junior variety of Olympic sports.  Classroom focus will be on coordination, building strong bodies, and learning how to be a good teammate.  The course is from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday,
Aug. 6-9.  Registration is $75.
