SCC TO PRESENT FREE MIDDLE EASTERN DANCE RECITAL MAY 19

    The St. Charles Community College continuing education department will present a free Middle Eastern dance recital, entitled “A Thousand and One Nights,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus.

    SCC dance instructor Nisaa will perform with the Madrasat Nisaa student dancers at the third annual recital.  Rooted in rituals and traditions celebrating femininity, birth, and life, this dance is a significant part of important celebrations of the life cycle.
