SCC OFFERING WILDERNESS WAGON TRIP TO THE
SHAW NATURE RESERVE

    Students will get a chance to discover native Missouri with St. Charles Community College’s Wilderness Wagon Trip at the Shaw Nature Reserve from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, May 3.

    In SPI-079-40, a naturalist guide will describe what is in bloom at the nature reserve during a wagon ride.  After the ride, students will visit the restored Bascom House and Interpretive Center, where they can walk through the Whitmire Wildflower Garden among more than 800 Missouri native plants.  The trip concludes with a trip to the Eureka Nursery, where students may purchase plants or seeds and learn what plants will work well in Missouri.  The coach bus departs from the circle drive by the Humanities and Fine Arts buildings on the SCC campus.  Registration is $54.
