SCC BUSINESS LIAISON RECOGNIZED WITH STATE CREDENTIAL

Ray Randolph, St. Charles Community College staff member, has been awarded Missouri Workforce Development Professional certification by the Missouri Association of Workforce Development (MAWD).

Workforce development professionals help people gain employment and maintain self-sufficiency. The MWDP certification recognizes the experience, expertise, and leadership of professionals in the field in the following five areas of competency: history and structure of the workforce development system, diversity training, customer service, interpersonal relations, and use of
technology.

Randolph works in the Dislocated Worker Program (DWP) at the Missouri Career Center in St. Peters. Randolph is employed by SCC in a partnership agreement with the Missouri Career Center through federal and state funding sources.  Randolph works on job development, helping local businesses fit their employment needs.  Recently Randolph has begun working with the new Manufacturing Skills Institute in St. Peters.

“The training involved with MWDP certification will help me do a better of serving the citizens of St. Charles County,” Randolph said.

The MWDP program is administered and endorsed by the Missouri Association of Workforce Development. MAWD supports vocational and technical training as well as community partnerships that help promote workforce development.
