| P – 500.0 |
Unless otherwise specified by the Board of
Trustees, all employees of the College are considered "at-will" employees.
In such an "at-will" employment relationship, either
the employee or employer may terminate the employment relationship
at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice.
No supervisor or other representative of the College has
the authority to enter into any agreement for employment
for any specified period of time, or to make any agreement
contrary to the above, except as approved by the Board of
Trustees. |
| Pr – 500.0.1 |
The College requests that an employee give a
minimum of two (2) weeks notice in the event of resignation.
Some management employees may be requested to provide additional
notice. Any accrued, unused vacation time will be paid out
at the next regular payday after termination. |
| Pr – 500.0.2 |
The College may consider a former employee for
re-employment. Such applicants are subject to the College's
usual pre-employment procedures. To be considered, an applicant
must have been in good standing at the time of previous termination
of employment. (If re-employment occurs within one year of
termination, refer to Board Policy 500.1, Reinstatement of
Service Time.) |
