Assuming
the Office - At the first meeting of the Board
of Trustees, and after the election of members of the
Board of Trustees has been certified, said members so
elected and certified shall present themselves for the
purpose of being seated. The newly elected members shall
then swear (or affirm) the following oath of office,
administered by the Board President, or other officer
of the Board, and shall file the oath with the secretary
of the Board:
"I
solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend
the Constitutions of the United States and the State of
Missouri, and that I will faithfully serve the office of
trustee of St. Charles Community College."
The
new members shall thenceforth be entitled and qualified
to perform the duties of the office of a member of the
St. Charles Community College Board of Trustees. |
