Transfer Degrees

Associate of Arts

The College Transfer Program at St. Charles Community College allows students to take the same freshman and sophomore courses that they would take anywhere else ... at a much lower cost. The transfer program is built around a comprehensive blend of traditional and contemporary subjects that are intended for transfer to most four-year institutions. Students receiving the AAS in Health Information Technology and Nursing may also choose to enter the workforce directly after obtaining appropriate licensure/certification.

Associate of Arts in Teaching

Developed by community college teacher educators throughout the state and offered by every community college in Missouri, the Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree is a transfer degree for future educators. Students completing this degree will observe and participate in K-12 classrooms and will examine theories of human growth and development, learning theories, assessment strategies, classroom management principles, integration of technology into the K-12 curriculum, and the legal, historical, and philosophical foundations of our American education system.

Associate of Science

The Associate of Science degree is awarded to students completing the requirements of specifically identified programs. The work parallels the work done in the first two years of a Bachelor of Science degree at four-year institutions. Associate of Science degrees are offered in the following disciplines:
