I am younger than 16. Where do I start?
- First, you must fill out an Application for Admission and take
the complete Academic Skills Assessment (comprised of three tests).
- You will also have to complete
the Application for Special Admission. This requires a letter
from the home schooling parent describing the need for these courses
in your curriculum and why they cannot be met through home schooling. A parent’s
signature is also required on the form.
- You will need to contact the director of student development
who will review your placement scores to determine if you placed
into college-level coursework. If you are approved to enroll,
the director of student development will facilitate contacting
faculty to seek permission for enrollment into specific courses.
- If you are currently taking high school coursework, you are
limited to 6 credit hours at SCC.
