Do you have a hobby, talent or skill that you would like to teach others? Come and learn the basics of getting started as a Continuing Education instructor. We are always looking for new instructors and great ideas for classes. An informational meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the John M. McGuire Humanities Building. SCC Center Stage Theatre is holding open auditions for the upcoming production of "Deathtrap" at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, Jan. 22-23, in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building. There are roles for two women and three men. The performances will be in the theater of the Fine Arts Building at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, March 6-7, 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, March 8-9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10. For more information, contact Jeff David. The Music Faculty Recital with Mary Sweetin will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, in the theater of the Fine Arts Building. Mary Sweetin will perform the music of Vivaldi, Vaughan-Williams, Schubert and Beethoven. Christiana Horn will accompany Mary on piano. SCC will host a series of events in honor of Black History Month starting Jan. 28. The events include film and documentary showings, a panel discussion, a lecture, lunchtime trivia and more. For more information, contact Mandi Smith. SCC is pleased to announce the Printmaking and Sculpture Invitational exhibition curated by Christine Holtz. This exhibition includes works by eleven local artists working in a variety of printmaking and sculptural processes. This exhibition runs from Jan. 28-Feb. 22, with an opening reception at 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.6, and is free and open to the public. |

COL 101 tuition and fees are due today by 7 p.m. 13/SP and 13/SP1 tuition and fees are due today by 7 p.m. Starting this month, the SCC Library will check out keys to students who wish to use study rooms located on the second floor. The rooms may be checked out for a maximum of three hours with a valid photo ID. Study rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations may be made. The following college representatives will be visiting SCC to discuss transfer requirements (all representatives will have tables set up in the atrium of the Administration Building):
