Register to vote for the Nov. 6 election at one of two SCC locations, either at the SCC Welcome Center on the first floor of the Administration Building, or in the Library, on the first floor of the LRC.

SCC is an approved charity in the Schnucks Escrip program, which means if you show an Escrip card at checkout, Schnucks will donate a portion of your sale to the SCC Foundation. Signing up for a card is free and doesn’t cost anything to use. To receive and activate an Escrip card, email Tara Cochran. If you already have one, just remember to have Schnucks swipe it while purchasing groceries.

The last SCC men's and women's soccer home games of the season will be at the following dates and times:

The Transform Art Exhibition will be on display until Nov. 2 in the FAB gallery. Gallery hours are

The Employee Sponsored Program (ESP) will host SCC Trivia Night at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, in the SSB Auditorium. Cost is $25 per person, or $200 per table of up to eight people, and includes popcorn and beverages. Deadline to register is Wednesday, Oct. 10. A presentation of "Campus Safety: What You Need to Know," will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday,

The Young People's Theatre will present "The Creepy Creeps of Pilgrim Road" at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 19-20, and at 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 20-21, in the FAB theater. SCC Friends & Alumni’s next Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series presentation is from 7:30-
9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the St. Charles Convention Center.
The presentation, “Seeing Your Organization Through the Eyes of a Customer, Creating Customer Loyalty,” by Patrick Fenton, Director of Operations-St. Louis at Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, is free and open to the public and includes a continental breakfast. The 2012-13 Staff Training and Education Program (STEP) schedule is now available online. Deadlines for enrolling: Civil Treatment for Managers, Oct. 8; BIT, Oct. 16; dotCMS Open Workshop, Oct. 22; Surviving Everyday Pressures: Handling Stree and Finding Balance, Oct. 22.

The long-range planning steering committee members are hosting and facilitating a series of "Town Hall Meetings," or open forums, to gain employee feedback, comments and suggestions to the drafted mission statement, vision statement and institutional goals. These drafts will be available on the LRP intranet site the week of Oct. 8. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Here are the upcoming town hall meetings with deadlines to register:

SCC students are invited to attend "Chesbrough Chat," an open forum for students to ask questions, voice opinions and share ideas about SCC with the president, Dr. Chesbrough, from 6:3-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the Student Center Private Dining Room.
