The college will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day. No classes will be held and all offices will be closed.

The Café will be closed until August. Summer hours for the Plaza Bistro will be 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Bookstore summer hours are: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; closed Saturday-Sunday. Regular store hours will resume Monday, July 23.

The Fitness Center hours through July 30:

  • Monday/Wednesday: 7:30-11 a.m., noon-2 p.m., 3-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday/Thursday: 7:30-9 a.m., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Open gym summer hours are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a..m-12:30 p.m.

In 2011, the SCC Foundation received an additional $1,019.87 to award in scholarships and grants, thanks to the Schnucks Escrip program. For those who registered by the deadline, don't forget about the Silver Social, a closing celebration of SCC's 25th anniversary year, from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday, June 22, in the SSB auditorium. 12/SU0 classes end Wednesday, June 20.

12/SU3 second five-week summer minimester begins Thursday, June 21.

The last day to change from audit to credit for 12/SU3 classes is Thursday, June 28.

The last day to drop and receive a "W" for 12/SU classes is Friday, July 6.

Beginning in the fall 2012 semester, there will be a charge for printing in the LRC, ACE Center and Tech 116. The charges will be $0.10 for a black/white, one-sided copy, $0.15 for a black/white, double-sided copy and $0.30 for a color, one-sided copy. Students must present their SCC student ID in order to print on campus and separate community log-in information will be provided for local residents to access paid printing in the LRC.
