13/SP2 and 13/SP3 classes end on Saturday, May 18.
SCC's 25th annual commencement exercises will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, in the College Center. The keynote address will be given by the international community college honor society leader, Rod Risley.
13/SUO classes begin Tuesday, May 21.
The college is closed Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.
Tuition and fees for Summer 2013 classes are due by 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.


The first RN-BSN cohort in the partnership between Central Methodist University (CMU) and SCC is now forming. Courses are projected to start in June and students would complete the core program in about 17 months. Classes are scheduled to meet in SSB 1203. The deadline for the SALT book scholarship is quickly approaching. Turn in your certificate of completion to the financial aid office by Friday, May 31, to be included in the drawing for SALT sling-bags, SALT tumblers, frisbees, five $50 book scholarships and the grand prize of an $100 book scholarship. Youth In Need's first 5K, FLYIN 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run is Sunday, June 9, at Lindenwood University. All proceeds will benefit the children and families of Youth In Need. The run/walk is pet and kid friendly. Free T-shirts will be given to all 5K runners who register before Friday, May 24. Participants who raise $100 in addition to their entry free will be entered to win fantastic prizes. For more information, contact Beth Butcher at 636-946-5600.

SCC will host the inaugural SCC Cougar Car Show from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in SCC's Red Parking Lot. There will be displays of classic cars, drift cars, specialty cars and more. For more information contact, Wendy Brown at 636-922-8233.
SCC's Center Stage Theatre is holding open auditions for the upcoming production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, May 21-22, in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building. There are parts for eight women and 10 men.
