ROSE MACK

Rose Mack, currently the president and chief executive officer of the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, also held this position from 1996-2003. She returned to the Chamber in 2006 after serving as the in-district representative from 2003-2006 for former Missouri State Sen. Jon Dolan.

She has a rich history of service to the city of O’Fallon, including time on the Planning and Zoning Committee and two terms on the O’Fallon Board of Aldermen where she also served as president pro tem. Additionally, Mack has been an active member of the St. Charles County and Missouri Municipal Leagues and served as the vice president of the Missouri Route K Transportation Corporation.

Mack’s current civic involvement includes the O’Fallon Kiwanis, the St. Charles County Parks Advisory Board, the SSM St. Joseph Hospital West Advisory Board, the League of Chambers and as a board member of Vision St. Charles County Leadership. In the past, she has been a member of the O’Fallon Rotary, the Crider Center for Mental Health Board, Proposition R for Roads Committee, the Committee for the Development of St. Charles County 2010 Plan, the St. Charles City/County Library District Board, the SSM St. Joseph Health Center Advisory Board, and was a founding member of the Vision St. Charles County Leadership program. In 2006, the Vision Leadership Program presented Mack with the inaugural “Visionary of the Year” award.

As a former community college student, Mack has a personal interest in serving as a member of the SCC Board of Trustees. "Community colleges serve students from the young to the young at heart,” she said. “As tuition costs rise at most four-year institutions, St. Charles Community College continues to help our residents by providing a quality education at an affordable price. The college is a great value to our community and I want to help maintain the integrity and service that this college provides.”

Mack and her husband, Nicholas, have four children and eight grandchildren.
