Staff Training

Building Work Relationships This training session explores how we work in a team environment. The session will cover building trust, creative problem solving, strengthen work relationships, and conflict management. If you work in a team environment, this course will strengthen your team building skills.
Communicating for Results
Participants learn to use their voice to become a more effective communicator; learn to say "no" without feeling guilty; how to ask others to change their behavior without causing conflict; how to react when you are the one being criticized; and how to communicate between the four different personality types.
EAP - Excellence in Business Writing This session revisits best practices in business writing. This includes commonly misused words, punctuation clarification, e-mail and spelling review (many people overly rely on spell check). This session provides training on how to consistently focus on excellence in written communications with an emphasis on grammar, usage, and punctuation.
EAP - Goal Setting and Time Management

We all get caught up in the hectic daily activities and it is very easy to lose sight of our goals and quickly lose work-life balance. Yet there are proven strategies to help busy professionals achieve happy, healthy, productive, and well balanced lives. In this session, participants will:

  • Learn to use the “Wheel of Life” to identify areas for setting balanced goals.
  • Learn the power of writing goals
  • Learn how to write SMART goals
  • Learn to prioritize goals
  • Learn to schedule time to work on, review, and revise goals
Managing Your Time Shorter deadlines, competing priorities, endless meetings, interruptions and ever higher quality expectations are just some of today's time challenges. Yet, the number of hours in the day remains the same. You can solve this dilemma by learning the practical, everyday skills revealed in this class session. Take a time management assessment and identify your strengths and weaknesses in time management. Then get helpful tools to help you strengthen your weaknesses and become better at managing your time.

Management Classes – Supervisors Only
