About the Program:

• Completion of staff training enables personal growth and gives you the opportunity to learn a new skill.
  
• The Developmental Opportunities form that is completed and turned in annually to Human Resources is used as a point of reference when creating the annual training calendar.
  
• The length of training sessions are scheduled to allow sufficient time for the content to be delivered in an effective manner. However, sessions typically last no longer than four hours.
  
• Once you have completed five units, you will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment listing the units you attended and signed by Dr. John McGuire, SCC president. In addition, you will receive one of the following gifts:
  • SCC Travel Mug & SCC Umbrella*
  • SCC Black Parker Pen & SCC Brass Key Chain*
  • SCC Day-Pak
  • SCC T-Shirt
  • SCC Lunch Bag & SCC Café/Bookstore Water Bottle*
    
    *These items are gift sets and cannot be separated.
