Completion of staff training enables personal growth and gives
you the opportunity to learn a new skill.
The Developmental Opportunities form that is completed and turned
in annually to Human Resources is used as a point of reference when
creating the annual training calendar.
The length of training sessions are scheduled to allow sufficient
time for the content to be delivered in an effective manner. However,
sessions typically last no longer than four hours.
Once you have completed five units, you will receive a Certificate
of Accomplishment listing the units you attended and signed by Dr.
John McGuire, SCC president. In addition, you will receive one of
the following SCC gifts. The selection may vary according to availability.
These gifts are the College's way of thanking you for taking the
time to increase valuable skills that are important.

To sign up for STEP classes contact Jessica Trimborn,
Human Resources, jtrimborn@stchas.edu or ext. 8393, and indicate your
name, the session(s) you want to attend, and your contact information.
