Zonta International Establishes Scholarship With SCC Foundation to Assist Women in Furthering Education
 The St. Charles chapter of Zonta International has established a scholarship with the St. Charles Community College Foundation. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to female students pursuing education later in their lives.
Zonta International is dedicated to advancing the status of women worldwide,” said president Brenda Fraser. “This scholarship fits perfectly because SCC has students from around the world who need help to pursue their dreams of completing college.” more

The St. Charles Community College (SCC) Foundation has announced the recipient of the college’s 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award, to be presented at the 20th annual SCC commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 17, in the College Center on campus. more
Pear Award Scholarship Dinner Sets Record for College Foundation
 Grace Harmon Recognized for a Lifetime of Compassion, Commitment, and Service
The St. Charles Community College Foundation PEAR Award Scholarship Dinner on Feb. 23 at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles raised $60,445 for scholarships and academic programs of excellence while recognizing the achievements of civic leader Grace Harmon. The proceeds this year set a fundraising record for the Foundation’s annual gala event. more

SCC Foundation Hires New Annual Giving Manager
 Kasey McKee of O’Fallon recently joined the St. Charles Community College Foundation as annual giving manager. McKee will assist in the cultivation and solicitation of individuals, businesses, and organizations. She will also play a large role in the growth of the Annual Sponsorship Program. more
