IRE Staff

The Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness is staffed by a director and assistant director. The office is located in the Social Sciences Building, SSB 2104 (effective June 2007).

Dr. Ronald R. Pennington Director Ron joined SCC in March 1998.  Previously, he held research positions at Webster University, Bell Telephone and in state/local government.  Ron holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from St. Louis University.  He also has an M.A. in Urban Affairs and a B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.  E-mail Ron at rpennington@stchas.edu

Suzanne G. Wirth Assistant Director Suzanne joined IRE in August 1999 having worked for the College since 1992. Prior to working in education, she enjoyed careers at Nestle Foods and McDonnell Douglas.  She holds an A.A. from SCC, a B.A. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Corporate/Industrial Communications from Lindenwood University. Suzanne is an adjunct instructor for Microsoft Office applications and Oral Communications at SCC. E-mail Suzanne at swirth@stchas.edu
