St. Charles Community College welcomes applicants for the position of Associate Director of Institutional Research. This position is responsible for providing timely information to internal and external constituents including federal, state, and private reporting agencies. This position serves to coordinate, administer, or manage data on projects. The position serves to maintain historical data and to keep current the data sets and variables needed and used by the department in its day-to-day operation.
Other duties include:
Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High degree of organizational ability in order to multi-task and meet required deadlines. Ability to work independently, and to manage project timelines, coordinate data from divisions, administrate reports, and survey processes. Highly skilled in multiple computer software programs and Internet-based data sites. Ability to determine which variables are needed for analysis and skill to combine data into statistical programs such as SPSS. Excellent communication skills to effectively work with College personnel including administrators. Must be able to effectively guide tasks delegated to administrative assistant, and, on occasion, give presentations. Exercises discretion with regard to sensitive data. Experience in higher education preferred.
