Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Evaluate programs to determine the presence of hazardous conditions, such as noise exposure, chemical exposure, indoor air quality, light levels, confined space, and ventilation in paint or welding booths.
Develop, design, and conduct safety training and education programs in a manufacturing setting. Demonstrate the use of safety equipment when required. Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. Conduct OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes. Must have completed OSHA 501 class and be qualified to issue certificates and OSHA cards upon request.
