Duties:

Teach up to six credit hours per semester in one of the above subjects.

Qualifications:

Most positions require a master's degree in related field or a master's degree and at least 18 graduate hours in related field. Some positions may require a bachelor's degree only.

Currently Needed:
  • Philosophy Instructors. Philosophy instructors are needed to teach Logic.
  • English Instructors. English instructors are needed to teach all levels of composition. Instructors will be needed to teach day-time classes. Master's degree in English required, and community college teaching experience is preferred.
  • Private Music Lesson Instructor. All instruments needed.
  • Art Instructors. Studio artists and art historians are needed.
  • Journalism Instructors. Journalism instructors are needed to teach introduction to Journalism courses.  MA in Journalism, professional experience in the field and teaching experience is required.
  • Psychology Instructors. Psychology instructors should have a Masters or above in Psychology with teaching experience in Intro, Psych of Aging, Social Psych or Abnormal Psych.
  • French Instructors. French Instructors should have a Masters in French, teaching experience is required.
  • College Success Instructor- Provide freshmen orientation and/or study skills instruction to students transitioning from high school to the community college; covering topics such as time management, technology, study skills, expectations of college faculty, career exploration, and educational planning. Position will start August 2013 (up to 5 credit hours).
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related area required.
    • Experience teaching and working with a diverse student population
    • Knowledge of teaching strategies and methods, one-to-one communication skills
    • Proficient working with small groups, and strong presentation skills
    • Work availability during fall and spring college semesters
