Take I-70 (east or west) to 5th Street North exit (first exit west of the Blanchette Bridge over the Missouri River). Go north on 5th Street for about 0.8 mile to First Capital Drive. Turn right (east) First Capital Drive. Go three blocks to 2rd Street. Turn left (north) on 2rd Street. The St. Charles County Criminal Justice Center is a red building about 2-3 blocks north on your left (west side of the street). It is directly across the street from the St. Charles County Courts Administration Building. The address is:

On-street parking is limited. If you park in the public parking garage (on the right) just before the Administration Building it will cost $2. There is some public parking just north of the building (on the right) or you can turn left on Adams Street go two blocks to 4th Street. Turn left on 4th and go about two blocks south to the hospital parking garage where you can park free. It's a little bit of a hike to the Administration Center, however. Wheelchair accessible parking and entry is available and well marked in front of the building but is frequently filled.
We will meet in the lobby of the Justice Center. Since we will be entering a secure area you will need to call me in order to join the tour if you arrive late. Attending this field trip is worth a maximum of 20 bonus points toward your overall semester grade. An essay will not be required, just be observant.
