Ron Pettus
American Government

Hi, I'm Ron Pettus. I am a faculty member in the Political Science department at St. Charles Community College. These web pages are for the students in my Government (POL 101 and POL 102) classes. All essential information will be provided to you in class (in paper form) but it might be more convenient for some of you to use this medium. This site also contains links to other sources of political science and government information.

I also teach ANT 171, Introduction to Egyptology and have a full website for that class. Click on the ANT 171 link below to access those pages.

These pages were designed by my son Jason. He is a writer and lives in Chicago. The flag banner graphic above was rendered by Jim Kuchar. Bill Sanders executed the Java Script code to create the really cool (in my opinion) "Doomsday Clock" above that counts-down the days until the next quiz or exam. If you are a procrastinator like I am, you can use this clock to decide when to panic. My thanks go to Jason, Jim, and Bill. I hope you find this site useful. Don't hesitate to offer suggestions or notify me of 'dead links.'
