Nancy M. Graviett
Assistant Professor-- Business Administrative Systems

I have taught at St. Charles Community College as a member of the adjunct faculty since 1995; I became full-time in August 2001. Prior to coming to the college, I taught part time at Pike Lincoln Technical Center for five years. Upon graduation from college, I worked in marketing research for a few of years before earning my masters degree and entering the world of education.

I am a member of National Business Education Association, Missouri Business Education Association, Missouri ACTE, and St. Louis Area Business Education Association. As a member of these professional organizations, I serve on many committees. Also, I am able to keep my skills up-to-date through meetings and workshops. In addition, I share my skills by presenting workshops at district and statewide conferences. In 1999 I was inducted into Who's Who in Missouri Business Education and earned MOUS certification in Word and Excel.

I regularly participate in workshops to keep my skills current and to learn about new trends and technology. I have also been involved in distance learning on our campus since 2001. I have presented many in-service sessions on campus covering Microsoft Office applications and distance learning.

Another way I remain current is to work with a textbook publishers. For the past nine years, I have written instructor manuals, Web reinforcement materials, as well as other textbook elements for various software applications, and co-authored a textbook for WordPerfect 10.

I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I enjoy our lives as spectators. We have two children who are very active in sports and school activities. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, and especially quilting. If you'd like to see some of my recent projects, click the link below.
