Course Description: An overview of language development, correctness, and usage in the English language
Objectives: To help students understand the system of rules underlying the grammar of English; To help native speakers of English to understand in a conscious way a system they know intuitively. To learn a variety of presentations of these concepts to both native and non- native speakers .

Grading: Your
grades will be based on points from the above assignments.(You will also
receive credit for in class activities and discussion; therefore, outside
preparation is not only essential for your grade but for effectiveness
of the entire class. In order to receive credit for late work, advance
arrangements must be made with the instructor. In order to pass the class,
all major assignments must be turned in.
